RugOne Celebrates First Anniversary at IFA 2026 with Global Launch of Flagship Xsnap 7 Pro

Exactly one year after making our global debut at IFA Berlin 2025 with our inaugural Xever 7 series, RugOne returned to IFA 2026 to celebrate our first anniversary. Marking a major milestone in our journey to redefine rugged mobile technology, we officially launched our groundbreaking flagship, the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro—the world’s first rugged phone featuring a detachable action camera module—alongside the all-new Xlink 7, the world’s first AI 4G action walkie-talkie.

Both innovations were showcased alongside our established Xever 7 series and the recently launched Xever 8, highlighting our expanding ecosystem for extreme outdoor communication and imaging.

Redefining Outdoor Imaging: The Xsnap 7 Pro

At our press event on September 5, we introduced the Xsnap 7 Pro, a device built from the ground up to merge high-performance professional action imaging with industry-leading rugged smartphone functionality.

The star of the show, its 39g detachable action camera module, connects seamlessly via a high-strength magnetic snap-and-latch mechanism. Engineered for real-world adventure, the camera module is waterproof down to 5 meters and features protective raised edges to absorb impacts and prevent lens scratches.

Key camera module specifications include:

Video Capabilities: 2.7K at 30fps recording with a 133° ultra-wide-angle lens and intelligent distortion correction.

Advanced Stabilization: Equipped with SteadyX anti-shake technology and Horizon Lock to maintain level, fluid footage during high-speed, rough, or inverted motion.

Power & Storage: Functions independently with 40 minutes of standalone battery life and 64GB of internal storage (holding up to 8 hours of 1080p video). When docked, the module can be recharged up to 20 times directly from the phone’s battery, enabling seamless wireless file transfers and continuous direct power supply.

Beyond its modular camera, the Xsnap 7 Pro functions as a premier rugged flagship. It features a dual rear system with a 50MP OIS AI primary sensor, a 64MP infrared night-vision camera, and a 32MP front-facing lens. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 5G flagship chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, the device sports a vibrant 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and a massive 9,300mAh titan battery.

Despite its ultimate protection—certified with IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H standards—the Xsnap 7 Pro weighs just 477g, featuring an ergonomic design with Sand Dune and Black colorways, dynamic Aura Pulse breathing logo lights.

Global Recognition and Market Availability

Prior to its public unveil, the Xsnap 7 Pro was honored at the IFA Innovation Awards on September 4, taking home the grand prize in the Communication & Connectivity category. Selected as one of only three overall winners, the Xsnap 7 Pro stood out as the sole smartphone recipient in the category.

The Xsnap 7 Pro will launch officially via Kickstarter on September 7, featuring a Super Early Bird offer starting at €799 for limited quantities. Global retail distribution will follow in October 2026, priced at $999 in the United States and €1,099.99 across Europe.
